Insurance FAQ

1. What insurances do you take?

We participate with the insurance companies listed below. To be sure we will have to contact your insurance company and verify with them. We will need a copy of your insurance card.

  • Aetna
  • Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield
  • Delta Dental
  • Husky (up to age 19)

2. What does my plan cover?

Every Plan is different, as your employer sets the plan with the insurance company. Individual plans (no employer) also have set limitations. If you need help with discovering your plan benefits, our insurance person can answer your questions.

3. Are x-rays covered?

Every insurance plan sets time limits for x-ray frequency. If we are taking x-rays today because we need them for diagnosis, and your insurance does not cover them, we will write off the cost as a courtesy to you.

4. Are night guards covered by my insurance?

Each dental insurance plan has limits set by your employer. We will need to contact your insurance company to find out whether this is a covered benefit, and what the insurance will reimburse for it.

5. Does my insurance cover Major work and Veneers or other cosmetic procedures?

Cosmetic procedures are USUALLY NOT a covered benefit. These include whitening, veneers, gold crowns, implants, onlays & inlays. The only way to determine whether a procedure is covered is to call the insurance company, or have us send a pre-treatment estimate to them.

For any other questions ask our front desk to speak with our insurance specialist.
